Sun is powerful in the world. Sun gives energy all world. Surya means sun, namaskar means greet, and asana means pose.. According to Indian culture, the sun is god. People worship of the sun. In Surya namaskara , we imagine that the sun is giving energy to us. So Surya namaskar yoga is very important for our health and fitness. Surya namaskara is very effective. Its second name is the sun salutation. Sun is a powerhouse of the universe. Surya namaskar of twelve steps. In suryanamaskara we visualize the power of sun.

.Steps of surya namaskara-

Do proper warm -up befofore surya namaskara-


Stand at the edge of the mat. Keep feet together. Your weight should equally balanced. Relax your shoulders. Inhale and lift up both arms. Exhale and bring your palms, in front of your chest and hands joined in the front. Now breathe in and lift your arms.

Stretch your arms backward. In this position, the biceps should be close to your ears. Now stretch your hands as far back as possible. So that your whole body should stretch. Exhale completely and bend forward from the waist keeping spine erect. Legs should not bend in this position.

Bring your hands down. Keep them flat on the floor beside the feet. Breathe in deeply and push your right leg back as far as you possibly bend your right knee. Breathe out and place your left foot between your hands. Inhale and turn your gaze upward. Breathe out completely. Lift up hips and tailbone. Chest facing downwards form an inverted v and inhale. Br.ing the knees down to the floor

. Raise your buttocks slightly on your hands. Touch your chest, knees, feet, chin, and hands to the floor. Your body should in a straight line perpendicular to the floor. Sire your body forward and raise your chest in a cobra pose. Push your body up using your hand and straighten your elbows slightly.

Turn your gaze upwards and exhale completely. Lift your hips and tailbone up. Exhale and walk yourself into an inverted ‘v’ posture. Breathe in deeply and push your left leg back as far as you are possible and bend your right knee. Breathe out and place your right foot between your hands. Exhale and turn your gaze upward. Breathe out completely.

Rise up and bend forward from the waist keeping your spine erect. Legs shoulders together do not bend. Bring your hands down and try to keep them flat on the floor. Besides your feet. Lift up your torso. Raise your arms and inhale. Stretch your arms backward in a backward position.

Your biceps should be close to your ears. For stretching your whole body, Stretch your hands as far as possible. Now breathe out and straighten your body and relax your shoulder. Bring your both arms down to the chest and bring your palms in front of your chest. Your hands should join in front in namaskara position. Inhale and relax.
. You should do a minimum of 10-12 sets per day.
